This was made from the cream alpaca fleece (on the previous page - bought with the black fleece). With this one, The cream looked a little boring for my liking, so I experimented with random dyeing using some old dyes and ended up with the colours shown.

Part way through preparing this one, I managed to win an ebay auction for a set of hand carders and found it much faster than using the dog slicker brushes (using the tutorials shown on The Joy of Handspinning site).

I again used the technique shown in the moebius scarf pattern from Planet Shoup (there seems to be an obsession developing here!), with my own improvisation in the pattern for a more lacy look.
